Mrs Raisha Singh, South Africa
Mrs Raisha Singh is currently employed as the Deputy Principal: Registrar and Student Support at Flavius Mareka TVET College. She has 23 years’ experience in the Technical Vocational Education and Training College sector.
Her journey started at Majuba Further Education and Training College as a Lecturer for 4 years and was then promoted to Senior Lecturer for 7 years in the same College. She was then promoted to Mnambithi TVET College where she served as the Ladysmith Campus Manager for a period of 10 years. She has acted in various positions such as the Human Resource Manager, Quality Assurance Manager and Deputy Director: Corporate Services at Mnambithi TVET College.
Mrs Singh is now promoted to Deputy Principal: Registrar and Student Support at Flavius Mareka TVET College in 2017.
Other positions held by Mrs Singh include part-time tutoring at Damelin and UNISA, Examiner for the NCV subject Introduction to Information Systems L2, Internal Moderator for the subject Systems Analysis and Design L3 and Marker for the National Examinations at the Department of Higher Education and Training. Mrs Singh was also appointed by Umalusi as a member of the Qualifications Reference Group to review the NCV Policy.
